PetsForSale is wholly owned by Pets For Sale Group Ltd; Company no: 2224991, GST no: 102 116 135.
The journey for PetsForSale began in 2007 from a conversation around finding homes for animals from all walks of life. We wanted to create a website that gave homeless animals the best chance of finding a new home. We decided to build a ‘pet dedicated’ website that focused on New Zealand animals. The website has grown from a ‘re-homing’ portal, and now includes pet classifieds, pet services and pet community.

PetsForSale caters for all your pet needs, from finding a pet in our classified listings, finding out where your nearest cattery is, to asking questions in our pet community forum. PetsForSale provides New Zealanders with a website that is dedicated to pets. It is simple to use and easy to find.
Our web development team have been busy building the latest features including free video uploads and unlimited photos to ensure that your classified advertisement is media rich getting the best exposure and opportunity to succeed.

Our Relationship with the SPCA
PetsForSale is engaged with the RNZSPCA on nationwide basis. We are helping all SPCAs to find homes for over 25,000 animals that find themselves at the SPCA every year. Through our website the SPCA can upload animals that need to be adopted for free and you can view these animals online and contact the SPCA directly to view and hopefully adopt the animal.
How we Help the SPCA
For every Pet Classified that is purchased online, PetsForSale will donate 10% of your classified fee to the SPCA. This enables us all to help pets in New Zealand, by helping fund the SPCA with all their great work.
